《中国学术期刊文摘（英文版）》（Chinese Science Abstracts (English Edition), CSAE）2006年2月创刊，是我国第一份综合性英文版检索类科技刊物，也是《中国学术期刊文摘（中文版）》（CSAC）的姊妹刊。该刊首批选择300余种我国优秀中文、英文科技类学术期刊为文摘源期刊，收录其中重要的自然科学、农业科学、医药科学、工程与技术科学4大门类学术论文的文摘信息，以英文形式刊载。
CSAC致力于将我国科学技术各领域的原创性成果全面、快速地向世界各国科技工作者交流、传播，为此，每期将向国内外重要检索系统寄送，以促进我国科学技术的对外交流和国际重要检索系统更为广泛地收录我国科技期刊刊载的学术论文。
CSAC由中国科学技术协会主管，科技导报社主办并负责编辑、出版、发行，主编为中国科学技术协会书记处书记、北京理工大学教授冯长根博士。CSAC对科研单位、高等院校、图书馆以及广大科技工作者检索和了解我国科技研究成果、学术研究动向具有重要的参考价值。
CSAC为大16开本，自2007年起改为月刊，国内统一刊号CN 11-5411/N、国际标准刊号ISSN 1673-4084；国内外公开发行，邮发代号80-487(国内)、M1993（国外），全国各地邮局均可办理订阅手续，海外发行总代理为中国国际图书贸易总公司；国内 （包括港澳台地区）定价： 人民币15.00元/册， 人民币180.00元/年；国外定价：美元15.00/册，美元180.00/年；欢迎广大科技工作者和科研单位、高等学校、图书馆、资料室订阅。

Chinese Science Abstract (English Edition) (CSAE), established in February 2006, is considered as the first comprehensive academic retrieval journal in China’s scientific and technological field. As a companion volume of Chinese Science Abstracts (Chinese Edition) (CSAC), CSAE is subordinated by China Association for Science & Technology, and sponsored by Science & Technology Review Society. CSAE with China’s excellent scientific and technical journals both in Chinese and in English as its source ones, includes the abstracts of the research papers concerning natural science, agricultural science, medical science, and engineering & technical sciences. CSAE will make efforts to promote all-round and prompt exchanges of the original achievements in China’s scientific and technological fields between China and other countries in the world, to help the scientific and technical circles in the world to better understand the general level of China’s scientific research, and to promote international exchanges of the research papers. CSAE will help scientific research institutions, institutions of higher learning, libraries as well as scientific and technical workers to search and get acquainted with China’s latest achievements and developments in scientific research. CSAE is a monthly in 2007.
